Jim’s Automotive Service was established in 1959 by James E. DeOrsey Sr., a Korean war veteran and a well known figure in the local community. Originally a 2 bay Texaco gas station our work mainly consisted of small services and gas sales. We no longer wear the star, but you can always trust us with your car. In 1982, after 23 successful years in the business, he passed and his son James E. DeOrsey Jr. took over the business. Three years later in 1985 he expanded the garage to a 4 bay 2500 square foot full automotive repair/service station. 36 years later in 2018 he retired and his son James R DeOrsey took over the business and has made many changes including adding towing/recovery services and used car sales. We pride ourselves on providing a reliable and cost effective service for all of your automotive needs.
